New Bandwidth Provider

Sometime in the next week we will be turning up a new bandwidth provider to add even more redundancy. There should be no impact to our customers beyond improved speed and access to our network. We will post here when we have a firm estimate of when this circuit will be turned up (it could be as soon as this evening). We will also post when the circuit is online.

Update 8:58pm – Our staff was able to get this circuit online this evening and we are presently passing a small amount of traffic over it to test with. We will continue with this small amount of traffic until later into the weekend when we will turn it up for more traffic.

Offices Closed For Thanksgiving

Happy Holidays!

This is a note that to allow our staff to enjoy a relaxed holiday, our corporate offices will be closing early at 6pm on Wednesday, November 26th and will remain closed through the weekend. We will reopen with regular hours on Monday, December 1st at 7am. This will affect our response to all non-urgent phone calls and email tickets during this time.

If you have an urgent issue that needs to be addressed in a prompt manner while our offices are closed, please make sure to open an “urgent” ticket, or call our phone system and leave a voice mail marking your concern as “urgent”.

To mark your phone call as urgent, please do the following:

Dial 1-800-613-4305. At the voice prompt, press 1. Then press #. Finally, press 2 and leave a voice mail. This will page our on call staff and we will take care of your problem.

Fiber Maintenance - November 13th

In the spirit of letting our customers know of any potential service impacting work, we are posting this notice.

On November 13th starting at 7am and running until close of business on November 14th, our fiber carrier will be conducting maintenance along our point to point fiber path between our primary and backup facilities. Our fiber won’t be experiencing any changes, but there is always a chance that something could go awry. Worse case scenario, our backup facility will loose connectivity to our primary interrupting access to the backup facility and possibly causing a BGP routing reconvergence (Sub 60 seconds). There should be no impact on our public accessibility.
